Thomas Insurance Agency was founded by Jerry Thomas, of Clarksburg, WV. Jerry started in the insurance industry in 1970 as a sales agent with Bankers Life & Causality Company, and then in 1972, he was promoted to district sales manager for North Central WV. In 1973, he was promoted to branch manager for the state of Delaware. Before leaving Bankers Life to set up his own Agency, Jerry developed and managed a team of 25 employees. His team was recognized as one of the top branch offices in the nation.
